March 1, 2007 at 12:18 am #8816millera9ParticipantIt’s all I’ve ever used and I’ve never seen the red x of death. They do have scheduled outages sometimes but they’re usually posted beforehand on the main Flickr page so they’re avoidable most of the time. Good luck!
March 1, 2007 at 12:36 am #8817ElsinoreKeymasterFlickr works great for me, too. I used the free account for Farktography for many months before I went pro, and I have never had a problem with either version.

I use them, and they have a promotional code just for me: “stapler”.
Mostly I just wanted to plug that.March 1, 2007 at 1:51 am #8819verucaParticipanti’ve used my Flickr Pro acct for the past few contests and no problems so far

March 5, 2007 at 1:17 pm #8821powerplantgirlParticipantI’ve had Flickr pro for just a month or so now. I love it and have only had one little problem so far. It was not with linking to any other site. I had uploaded some photos and for some reason all of those new images disappeared like Flickr defaulted to a backup server or something. So I reloaded those new photos and went back a couple of hours later to find that Flickr had fixed the original problem so I then had duplicates of all of the new photos.
Phew! But I really do like Flickr Pro. I imagine the same thing would happen even if you weren’t pro.
Meh.March 5, 2007 at 2:27 pm #8822schneeParticipantI alternate between Flickr and ImageShack. The entries typically break between the ones I think are “good” (-> Flickr) and the other ones (-> ImageShack). I really haven’t had a problem with either.
I don’t use a Flickr Pro account.

I got the pro account
Here’s a link http://www.flickr.com/photos/aimlesslass/sets/I’m still uploading quite a bit (slowly on dial up).
I’m editing the descriptions on the fast connection at work.
Check back for updates.
I’ve still got over a year to load 🙄March 13, 2007 at 8:41 pm #8824eire_irieParticipantOh 1 more thing.
How can I get the link added to the memberlist page?
Thanks!

It’s attached to your profile that you can edit yourself at http://www.farktography.net/user.php?op=edituser. Once you’ve saved your changes on that page, then click on the ‘Profile’ at the top of this section at http://www.farktography.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=profile&mode=editprofile and click ‘Refresh your postnuke profile’.
Also, if you want to change any of your personal settings, there’s a link at the top of the header, right next to ‘Welcome to the farktography.net’ — just click your name.

If you’re doing a lot of uploading (or on a slow link!) it’s handy to get everything set the way you want, hit upload, and go to bed. When it’s done, you don’t need to go back and tweak anything.
