#5380; how did you get the anti-vignetting?
#5422 and “The Dance”, did you use a special filter to get those rays eminating away from the subject? (I ask as I’m working on the Darlot Project, bringing 1879 glass to my 2005 EOS.)
First, I use Capture NX2 to do my developing and also have the Color Efex Pro plug-in suite for it. This is THE BEST marriage in software, EVAR! It’s so much better than working with masks and is a totally non-destructive process. You can even keep different ‘versions’ within one NEF file, where it just keeps the instructions for the various versions, not separate images. I also use a Bamboo tablet to ‘paint’ on the effects, which I think is much nicer than using a mouse.
(I don’t know how to post images in-line, so sorry for the links)
On 5380, I used Silver Efex Pro in Photoshop for the vignetting. There was a lot of dust in the shot to help with the ‘wispiness’.

The Dance and As One were processed in CNX2, then taken into Photoshop for various blur layers at different opacities/angles, a CEP filter or two then one of the Antique presets with adjustments on As One.
