Is there a designer in the house?

The Farktography Statistics Manager‘s visual design is getting a bit long-in-the-tooth (at least to me). I’m wondering if there’s anyone out there with some web-design chops (or at least a sense of visually appealing design) that could suggest some redirection, including, but not limited to:

• Color scheme – it is a bit muddy
• Typography – are the fonts OK?
• Verbiage – recast some of the paragraphs?
• Layout – any changes at all

I have ideas on the above topics, but I’d love input. I’d love actual layout designs as well (e.g. stuff mocked up in Photoshop or HTML/CSS).

I’m mostly interested in the visual design aspect, but I’d appreciate functional suggestions (e.g. “how about a report that defines the One True Best Farktographer?”) as well.
