Kat and I drove down to the City (San Francisco) yesterday because a Fark friend of ours was in town. We only had a few hours, and they were all into the evening, but I stepped outside for a few minutes and managed to catch this:

beautiful and gritty. while i adore the fog and tones, what seals the photo is the bit of action at the bottom of the frame.
