Taking pictures of a blanket
-
As mentioned in part of the geek thread, I was making a blanket for kiddo #2. Blanket is finished (and has been washed and not coming apart, so yay! for my first ever blanket). Any way, I promised pictures of it, and being lazy I’m just now getting around to it, but I’m coming up with a loss as to how to properly display said blanket. Might be too big to be considered a baby blanket, but it won’t exactly fit very well on a bed. It’s more square than anything, and should cover him for quite a while. It fits over a chair, all the way across our full-size bed. I made this with 7 skeins of yarn, if curious.
Maybe I’m making too much of it. Here’s what I have so far. I guess the photos strike me as “meh” but I think they could be better. I’ve just never shown off a blanket before.

Apologies if posted in the wrong thread group.
Nice job! I like pic #2 with the stuffed animals.
My wife has been working on this( http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3303/3308148140_db3d0a6ce6_b.jpg )using lots of small leftover yarn pieces, off and on for the past year.
