Wow indeed. When I first looked at them, I thought, “cool, but your standard NASA sun photos.” Then I saw that they were taken by an amateur in his backyard! Unbelievable.
Yep. I wasn’t impressed until I noted that these were not released by NASA or any other agency – but by an amateur.

The fact he is an amateur does really make this kick ass! I wish I had the money to get the equipment it takes to get those kinds of images. Someday!
