Well, shoot, NOW I see this post.

The C-41 could be shot, overexposed 1-2 stops. One could try the same with the slide film and hope for the best, but E-6 is iffy with under/overexposure. Maybe 2-3 stops overexposed for cross-processing in C-41. It could be fun to try though.

Was the film refrigerated/frozen? Then it’d be worth shooting at box speed or eBaying.

Oof. I think I tweak almost everything I shoot… I’ll have to reach back into the archives. As for film shots, I’ll go “straight from the lab” since the home-scanned stuff is switched negative to positive, then needs color/contrast/etc adjusted.

Are BW/sepia shots okay so long as they were shot that way, or would sepia be too much of an in-camera/software effect akin to art filters?

I’ve gotta be “that guy”. Does “no filters” just mean no software (in-camera, insta, Photoshop, etc) or does it also cover filters on the end of the camera lens? I assume UV/polarizer would be fine, but there are also the oddballs like color filters, multivision, galaxy, starburst, etc. I figured I’d ask now rather than just post and hope.

Curious, how exactly can you tell when something is poorly over processed/ over saturated vs hdr? I dislike the cartoonish colors either way and tend to scroll right by them, so I’m not sure which is which.

I assume stitched panoramas are out, but what about the “art filters” on digital cameras?

I’ve been waiting for one of these… I just hope I can find the ones I’d been thinking of posting.
