ParticipantCan I get a ruling on flying-boats that haven’t seen water in 40+ years?

ParticipantDid it once travel in or on water at any point in its daily usage? It’s like a hydrofoil type thing? I would think that would fit. I would even say yes to seaplanes personally. But Maybe kestrana was thinking boats and or ships?

ParticipantI’ll say that this particular sea plane sat in the water far more than it ever say the skies. It’s now been entombed in museums for many many years. Digging through the archives, I’ve got enough other options that I really don’t need that shot anyways, but thought I’d ask. Still hoping that I can get down to White Rock Lake this weekend to shoot the sailboat races, but my weekend looks pretty full atm.

ParticipantSeaplanes are fine. It doesn’t have to be in water currently as long as that wad clearly it’s purpose.

Participant“inanimate” would eliminate dead leaves floating on the water?

I believe we are trying to rule out swimmers, ducks, people on floats (though maybe not that one) basically, I think we want to rule out life forms under their own power. A leaf, though technically a life form is definitely not under it own’s power.
/Actualy submitters mileage may vary, see you dealer for details.

ParticipantDead leaves was really not what I was going for here, but I guess it technically fits the letter of the law. “Inanimate” was intended to rule out animals and people although it’s fine if they are in the picture with other watercraft. No tentacles please!
