Well Im having trouble picking from my last 6, anyone want to help me out? http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/sets/72157630275479234/with/8246794224/
I vote for “DSC_0128 carmel mission statue 850” (I like the colour contrast) then “DSC_0006 roosevelt bw small” (more contrast)
December 6, 2012 at 12:21 am #49637ravnosticParticipantI like the first one and Roosevelt as well, linguine

December 6, 2012 at 1:02 am #49639nobigdealParticipantAre tiny statues ok, or are we looking for only lifesize stuff?
December 6, 2012 at 1:07 am #49640ElsinoreKeymasterI don’t see why tiny statues would be a problem. There are no overt size requirements or limits stated in the theme description.

December 6, 2012 at 1:17 am #49641ElsinoreKeymasterFYI: Zeke can’t get the scheduling module up and going for me yet, so I am going to have to manually enter more themes (which will require a lot of steps for each individual one). This week has been pretty much hellish for me, so I apologize. Since the consensus was that people were fine with the Seasons Greetings theme, we will go with that for the theme following the end of the world theme. I’ll post a list of upcoming themes then schedule them as I can over tonight and tomorrow. Going to be out a lot of tomorrow between school commitments and a charity show. Between 8am and 10pm, I’ll mostly be gone, save for a window around 2-4pm, so if there’s something that needs immediate attention during those times, it might be faster to send a Farkback. I’ll be around off and on tonight, though.

Thanks, just wanted to check, I’m playing around with some small statues I have. Not sure if I’ll use them.
December 6, 2012 at 1:39 am #49644bender16vParticipantswampa, Wellington is tops!
Here are some B’s: Kiss My As Milan, Ball 1, Ready for some hoops, Enlightenment, my favorite statue, but not a good photo, top of the Duomo in Milan again, Horse Man, and Fairy.December 6, 2012 at 1:47 am #49645swampaParticipantswampa, Wellington is tops!
Thanks.
I like the fairy photo, you nailed the depth of field beautifully. Also what the fsck is your favourite statue?
December 6, 2012 at 2:28 am #49646LovesandwichParticipantQuick question…statue or not a statue?
December 6, 2012 at 2:29 am #49647hunchesParticipantDecember 6, 2012 at 2:32 am #49648bender16vParticipantswampa, I don’t know what it is, but there were a bunch of people around and I cut off the legs. I can’t remember his name or even the gallery that was displaying his work, but it was in Milan. He is/was a Swiss sculptor and I really liked all of his pieces. I don’t think that they allowed cameras inside.
The fairy was in this guy’s hand. He is big, probably 15 feet tall.
Edit: I found a Google Street View photo of the whole statue: http://goo.gl/maps/HvTlj Too bad it doesn’t show the name of that gallery.
Second Edit: His name is Nag Arnoldi. You can see some things here.

I’m pretty sure that is a person … oh you mean the dinosaur 😛
/I think it qualifies as a statue
December 6, 2012 at 2:39 am #49650ElsinoreKeymasterThe dinosaur is definitely a statue!
