Signs and other objects that show us where to go.

Kestrana has again given us good directions with this theme!

I totally misread this theme before seeing that photo and thought it was supposed to be signs that tell you where to go, this opens up a lot more possibilities.
My guess is that shot would be fine for fark but I’ll defer to Elsinore since she knows the posting rules the best.

OK, I think I’m missing something here. The theme description says it’s “Signs and other objects that show us where to go”, so what revelation am I missing that expands on this? Is it the “other objects” (i.e., it doesn’t necessarily have to be a sign)?

I had read it as the signs have to tell you where to go rather than signs in general or anything that provides directions

Ah, so you’re saying it’s “Signs and (other objects that show us where to go)” whereas before you read it as “(Signs and other objects) that show us where to go.” Given the theme name, I’d assumed it was the latter also. So, is that correct and signs in general (not specifically directional) are OK?

Im not seeing any directions on the sign in Orionid’s pic so Im hoping that interpretation is correct.

Well, now see, I saw my photo as the sign that says “Bullshit Corner” tells you where to go if you intend to bullshit.

Unfortunately, I’ve already used this one:

Man, I wasn’t thinking creatively….I’m going to tank as I thought way too literally and I don’t have anything funny. Or, I could head to NuTowne today and take stuff there. Delemna…

I may be out shooting astrophotography later; conditions are looking good. Can I get an OBO?

if any of those can’t be used, alternates:

    I’m on it.
I like to pay it forward when I’m TF’d by gift.

So I take it we’re going with any sign is fair game?

My interpretation is that the sign must be telling you some direction to go (or not go). The “bullshit” sign isn’t too vulgar since it’s not huge and in your face, but I’m not sure I would have interpreted as being on-theme, at least until Orionid clarified his interpretation of it.

FYI: Yugoboy has a hoppered theme called Signs that is more general signage. Let’s keep this one for directional signs.
