Bread and eggs would be the least of my worries.

Water. Shelter. Light. Calories. That’s pretty much it. I already carry three days for two people in the car any time I go out stormchasing, and the house is ready for two weeks or more, depending. I’d hate to do it in the summertime here, though. It’d get fricking hot.

    Nice boots!

The boots are a custom pair I’ve had for over a decade now – they’re on their third set of soles… made by SodHoppers.

    … And photographs.

Thanks! I’ve got over 450 images to sort through…

I didn’t ask for any compensation, since I’d published the photo without claiming any copyright and because it’s just a hobby for me at this point.

Irrelevant. Copyright exists from the moment of creation until explicitly granted to someone else.

Sweet. Really like the “love” shot.

I missed this year’s Kelby Photowalk, but won a book in the 2009 Kelby Photowalk in Tempe, AZ:

The other walkers thought I’d gotten too much sun when I started jogging up “A” Mountain.

heh… my wife wouldn’t let me within 6 feet of her with that bottle brush on my face! LOL

Many years ago, my wife suggested I shave the beard I’d had since we met.

I came out of the bathroom with a naked face and she said…

    “Yeah, um… grow it back.”

Someone else said that she has independently re-invented “reverb.”

Then this should really get you smiling. She enjoys singing with her head in a bucket.

She seems to have gotten over her political funk.

Nikon said to send it in and I’m expecting it to be covered under the warranty.

    I certainly hope so.

Different shot from that set while she was running around with the magazine.

Usually she’s smiling and laughing when she steals a magazine or a book. Not this one.

Don’t forget to WB for flash, or gel the flash to taste.

Wow. Haven’t seen anything like that on my D7000… and I shoot in some pretty horrific environments on a regular basis. That’s nasty. What did Nikon say, or have you talked to them yet?

Have you cleaned your sensor? A full-on wet-swab cleaning? I’ll bet your “black blob” shots show up at high apertures, f/16ish or smaller.

    (I’m disappointed with the D600’s X-Sync limit of 1/200.)

She keeps grabbing this issue of “TIME” and staring at Obama’s and Romney’s faces like, “I don’t trust those guys..”

    Can’t say I blame her.
