I may be able to use one or two of those shots if they get developed in time.

i chuckled.

can i infer from your user name why you are still shooting film?

I wish that were the reason! My user name is kind of an in-joke; I have a “fake” Leica lens for my Olympus DSLR. It’s made by Panasonic under licence from Leica. It has the Leica name on the front, but it doesn’t have that classic Leica look.
The reason I sometimes shoot film is mainly that I just like it. That and it’s the only way I can get full frame bokeh, something that is harder on the half-sized Four-thirds sensor.

No, the Leica camera will have to remain a dream for a while, at least until I can find a way to dispose of the wife…. 😯

As a matter of interest, this contest will mark my first entry from a cellphone camera.

The only possible connotation in which “camera” and “phone” can work in a sentence. 😀

I have many bees…and a feeling that I’ll choose wrong. 🙂

Is there one among us who doesn’t go through this, weekly? I have three b’s to share (which ain’t bad for a guy living in Phoenix):

I really want to use this, but I’m afraid it’s too soon after the last one from that set. After comparing the archives with the rest of the one’s I’d shot for this, I’m apparently going all-archive-dive this week.

I’m right there with ya, buddy. I’ve got two bees and I’m really worried about my choices this week, but I decided to be brave for once.

I’d say the glove shot for the humor factor–but don’t ask me with which one to replace it! Love the lens flare in the tubing shot, the snow angel is just too cute, and the snowflake too masterful. Good luck with that!

1st – rav and plama – I agree with your choices.
2nd – rav – yeah, I made 4 word files of my posts and the gloves were one of them. I decided the gloves were in the kids/cute category and diversified with the flake. I’m sure the gloves will show up sometime.

Thank you, ravnostic, for the spell check. The first time I started to enter the photo, it was sized wrong, so had to go back and redo it. Then my computer was acting up and moving like a snail. Guess I was too frustrated to spell. Do you think it would be better if I just had that one removed and do a new one?
