Thank you, ravnostic, for the spell check. The first time I started to enter the photo, it was sized wrong, so had to go back and redo it. Then my computer was acting up and moving like a snail. Guess I was too frustrated to spell. Do you think it would be better if I just had that one removed and do a new one? 😳

U-Man, ditto for the frost and both oldies. If those are your B’s, you’ve got me worried…

zinc, that first B’s really cute.

Of course I can’t see y’alls A’s yet, but my proposed A’s are here and my B’s are here. Like a lot of you, I had a ton to chose from and had a hard time doing so, so any feedback on A’s vs B’s would be welcome.

The ducks in the B’s are the ones I shot for this contest, but like orionid I liked the archives better.

Thanks, I was really tempted to go with it, but the cables from the tram in the bottom left are what made me shy away. The set that shot came from was taken just a few days after I got my camera, so the fact that I got a good shot out of it was heartening.

Also, thanks U-Man, the fact that you agree with my choices actually makes me feel better about them. Still, I don’t think this week is going to be one of my better showings. I’m just hoping I’ll keep my average up.

[cd], I like the action snow shots; as such I’d have used the ‘b’ with the snowball having hit him, with snow still in the air, vs. the one on the sled. The other two choices I think were best.

I work afternoon shift, get home, look at what is posted, realize I don’t have a snowflakes chance in July, log off, cry myself to sleep.

Could a mod look at my last two images?

I had to copy them from my old photo stoage site (shutterfly.)

I just want to make sure the verticle white space on the edge is legal. I did not alter these pics in ANY way, shape, or form. But, when I saved them from that site to my computer…they came with those white bands.

Is that OK?

Thanks for asking about Mr. Mopsy, Rav. His second surgery has gone well. We go to the docs tomorrow for a follow-up. He was cut from mid chest into the groin for this one. He now has scars running the length of his left leg and almost the entire length of the body. Definitely a candidate for Frankenstein next Halloween. Hey maybe I can figure out a photo op here!
