I’m starting to fall asleep at the keyboard thanks to some cold medicine I took (didn’t think it would kick in that fast), so I’m probably not going to be up much longer. If you guys notice an entry has gone missing, report it through the “notify moderators” link at the bottom of the thread and someone will hopefully be able to restore it more quickly that I’d be able to if it had to wait on me. I’ll check back in in the morning, though.

Definitely a great thread. I’m not sure I picked the right pictures this week but thats the way it goes I guess.
Here’s a couple “almost made it” photos from this week for your entertainment.
I had this image of summer fun in the Pacific just off the beach in Santa Barbara,
Heavy traffic in the surf
but is was too chaotic IMO. So I cropped out two kite surfers passing each other to see how that looked.

Given how little of the image I was using it came out pretty grainy though.
Also, I had a bunch of shots from a Barrel Racing event at a rodeo. I really like the color of the horse in this one, especially the mane.

But I wound up picking a shot of a horse in full gallop where all four hooves were off the ground instead.
Woke up to 58 more entries overnight. Awesome stuff!

I wish I had more of a chance to do something specific for this one rather than just search the files. But I think I’ll have that chance in a year or so.
Really fun theme to scroll through this week.
