Buildings, bridges and other man-made structures.
Theme suggestion brought to you by orionid–thanks!
March 8, 2010 at 9:29 pm #26779ElsinoreKeymasterHey orionid: Is this for external architecture only, or is internal structure ok, too?
March 10, 2010 at 4:10 am #26780orionidParticipantHmmm…. I’ll allow it.
March 17, 2010 at 11:12 pm #26781orionidParticipantSo, I find myself in Beantown, getting ready to head out for a night of carbombs and green beer. Any
chance someone could help me out with a couple OBO postings? I don’t have my laptop with, so I’m hoping the flickr medium size files will meet the 200k fuzzy filter. The (whole dang) Empire State Building.

Please, thank you, and luck o’ the Irish to ya.
March 17, 2010 at 11:25 pm #26782swampaParticipantI can post it for you Orionid.
March 17, 2010 at 11:35 pm #26783corsec67ParticipantCan I also get an OBO?

March 17, 2010 at 11:41 pm #26785Zero_ExponentParticipantMissed last week’s contest due to unforseen shiat. I’m not losing any sleep over it, because my ideas were similar to orionid‘s rocket pic and linguine‘s Pratchett collection (although I must say, true Pratchett snobs prefer the Corgi editions with the Paul Kidby covers :p ).
Here’s what I would have entered, in case anybody is interested:
Rocket Men http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4010/4422230319_7eb63dbf5f_o.jpg
Pratchett Geek http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4035/4436469944_af273ffe12_o.jpg

The Cost of War http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4044/4435781321_ff9aab95bb_o.jpgThe architecture theme was fun to shoot. I’m no expert, and I don’t usually take a lot of pictures of buildings and bridges, but I think I’ll be more aware of that now.

Ach, that would have really sucked.
Fixed now. (Should probably set “Disable HTML” to default to on, since HTML doesn’t work here anyways…
