ParticipantFaneuil Hall, yes?
Edit: *sigh* I’ll have to hurt orionid later
If you stand on the steps on the other side of the building, just in front of you to the left is an outdoor restaurant. They had the best baked (Bay) scallops I’ve ever had…

ParticipantI guess I’m the oddball here as I absolutely love HDR! I love the whole process, AND I like the more exaggerated tones. I wish I had been able to get photos of more spectacular places than a tool shed, but I still like the depth HDR creates. I think this thread is beautiful!!!!!

ParticipantYou just really have to play with all the different knobs and sliders…
I’m 14.

ParticipantElsinore, I think the img src tag has an error in it.
It should read
img src=”http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4017/4463163702_1f1fce3fdc.jpg” width=”500″ height=”482″ alt=”MonetHDR” />
with < at the beginning

ParticipantHere’s a link to my HDR set on Flickr, for those interested.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ennuipoet/sets/72157622842248524/liked most of them. toning down the — well whatever it is you have to tone down — seems to really help make them more lifelike while still getting the extra detail.
like i need to tell you 🙂 thanks for sharing.
BTW i have a print of a film shot taken of the cliffs at laguna beach, ca that has that same coppery sky as you hudson river shot (photo 4). did the print myself and have never been able to replicate it. which is a shame because i love how it turned out.
