I like 1, 3, 5, 6, and excusesexcuses. I was thinking both of photographically as well as potential for captionshopping.
Have you tried a real close crop on number 3? Maybe with the eye as a “rule of thirds” focus. Could be real dramatic effect with the other half in shadow. Jus’ my 2 cents.
stapler i like #6 best.
i have three and one is a head shot. the other two are going in the other direction. no, not that direction. more of a random cat being a cat thing.

Numbers 1 and 3 are my favorites followed my 9-3 and excusesexcuses.
I could use some help narrowing down my shots as well if anyone wants to look through the cat picks at the beginning of my photostream too – http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/
And if we really wanted to bring fark(and possibly flickr) to their knees we could try to start a second thread without voting for all the shots that didnt make the cut for this week.
Well we went by the Zoo today (visiting in chattanooga) And I for the most part the cats were a wash out. It was almsot 100 degrees so they were all trying to find cool places to nap. The Cougar was stretched out next to the glass, but some kids (encouraged by mom) were screaming and p ounding and jumping to “wake it up” so they could see it move around. I was so ticked off. I lost a perfect shot because of his head in front of me at the last second.
Anyway I have a few I will submit, something is better than nothing I think.
I like “i r smrt kat small”, “do not want small” and “soccer 1 small” the best.

For what it’s worth (maybe I’m just adding to the confusion?) narrowing it down to therr, I like #1, #3 and #7 the best. The black cat in #7 just looks like a total sweetheart. So an interesting crop on excuses could be pretty terrific too.

Again, at the risk of just confusing things late in the process, I like “chester 2 on mat 2”, “do not want” (great shot!) and “play time 2”.

Things do seem to be slowing down a little, though. I think everyone was waiting to submit. I delayed going to the gym by 26 mins! (and I need to go now! Will check back later for kitty goodness… )

Hello.
I don’t have many cat shots but I have a series of very similar shots of a cat, some shot in B&W and some shot in color.
I used one of the B&W shots a while back and the one I want to use tonight looks almost identical, only in color. The cat was sleeping though so even though it’s a different shot, it looks the same.
Is this permissible?
