I dunno. I kinda laughed it off, cause I suspect maybe he was just joking and it didn’t come across well. Also, I wanted to repond to his “good idea” comment but 1) wasn’t sure if he was being serious or sarcastic and 2) I couldn’t properly credit you in that thread cause it would be calling you out (since you haven’t participated yet). Feel free to jump in there so I can talk up your epic-ness 😉
Other than that, the captionshop thread is already shaping up to be epic as well.
And I can caption my own pix for the captionshop part, if that’s not bad form… =P

Yep, got it, though it only half-loaded and sat there at first, so it might break again–let me know if it does.

Not really. The green line in the Farktographer’s over time show’s the boobies, and you can scroll through the tabular data. The most entries can be gleamed from the Distinct by theme report, but it doesn’t sort like you want.

Actually, I was wondering if the Farktographers over time graph could be improved, perhaps by making the boobies and weeners 5 contest moving averages or something…. it’s awfully hard to read as is right now.

I’m really pleased to see all the boobies from the new Farktographers. There are some awesome people there, and seeing Yammering Splat Vector there was delicious. He could be a force to be reckoned with.
Also, Fascist Farktography contest? WTF, mate? (from the Caturday thread)
FYI, this week pulled a handful of people that normally do PS contests into the fray. And Yammering Splat Vector is already a force to be reckoned with in that context. 🙂

Yeah, I don’t know what’s up with that, though we’ve seen it before. That one was only 26k, though, so I really got nothing. It’s restored now, though.

He accidentally forgot to flip the switch when he posted but is having trouble logging into this sight. I suggested he ask here since the contest thread is so huge, but I can ask him to post there if you need to get the request directly from him. We work together so it’s not a problem to get in touch with him. 🙂
It’s the giant cat in a box photo timestamped 2008-07-31 02:54:35 AM. Also in case it’s useful this should link to the image directly.

Those are my best 2 from the trip to the chattanooga zoo. And I feel sorry for those cats.

ParticipantOk, this clearly proves that thousands of dollars of camera equipment, not to mention years of experience, mean absolutely nothing in Farktography!!!! My highest total vote getting image is seven years old, and it came from the first set of shots I downloaded from the first camera I ever bought, back in 2001…..
