Is a large vertically stitched image still considered a panoramic, or does it have to be horizontal?

Don’t think it should matter the direction of the panorama.

Couldnt a panormic be stitched Vertically AND horizontally? I would think panoramic is anything that is wider than the normal field of view attainable by a camera.. Especially if stitched.

I like the angle definition of >160 degrees.

Alas no 🙁 Thats a limit imposed by the site design itself. We used to have 700 pixels wide, but the redesign changed things.

I like the angle definition of >160 degrees.

That seems like kind of an odd definition to me. It would generally include fisheye shots of any aspect ratio, and exclude images shot with most (if not all) panoramic cameras, not to mention many stitched images shot with longer lenses (unless they contained dozens and dozens of images).
