09-09-09 – Farktography Classic: Less is More 2

whew. crisis averted.

Wow… just got in from vacation, didn’t realize this was coming up so fast. So I scrambled through the archives, picked about about 10 shots that I thought might fit and eenie-meenied 3 of em to submit. So this could be interesting.

This is definitely one of those themes where I’m not sure about my own entries, but strongly looking forward to everyone else’s, if not just to see their take on the subject.

I’d say you did some pretty good eenie-meenie-ing! 😀

i struggled more to get into the groove than in choosing. so these are more discards than b-sides for the most part 😉

In no particular order… Oh, and most of these aren’t even sized for popping, much less posting, so if you have dial-up, don’t even bother lol. I just didn’t get that far with most of them.

well that was one of the problems with mine… that’s why i said they were more rejects than b-sides 😉

yeah, if they were minimal enough, I would have used them. show us what you’ve got, olavf, or did you already and I didn’t see it?

This one I decided was more abstract than minimal, though I suppose if I’d redone it without the mirror it could have gone either way:

most of it’s still in RAW though 😛

you should use that second one if we ever have a theme of photos to make soosh get dizzy and fall over

lol I actually rejected one of the red ones for that reason too – it was a bit worse than that even, I think. The pattern is the top diffuser panel in our light box, and it took a bit of playing with F-stops to get it the way I wanted it (the first and the second shots are the same water drop at different angles camera settings)

There is some really impressive pics this week. Beautiful work.
