10-01-08 – Neon

So, I didn’t see a consensus in the theme thread: is this theme for:
1) Just for Neon lights, so that would be a orange-red color
2) Any Low-pressure gas discharge lighting that isn’t the normal florescent white color
3) Any Low-pressure gas discharge lighting including white florescent lights
4) Any kind of colored light bulb as used in a sign, like colored incandescent lights

So, something like this would be in theme?

(Although I would probably take a picture using something better than my absolute worst lens if I was going to enter something like that)

That would count… Any low pressure dishcharge light

I have an older, but Really cool picture for this theme…

Exactly how much neon needs to be in the picture? What if there is a neon sign in the picture but its small and not the center of focus (but its providing a good portion of the light in the picture).

Hmmm….. I had a few good ideas planned out for this one, but I just realized that it’ll be quite difficult to submit my entries from 30,000 feet over the pacific. Good luck to all.
