Having a hard time with some last-minute decisions. Anyone have some tips? I’m split between these two for time-lapse:

And I like this one’s motion and colour, but the more I look at it, the more it seems it doesn’t tell enough of the surroundings:

My intent was for it to be the local agricultural exhibit. Where I am, at the end of summer/fall there are agricultural fairs, where people used to exhibit what they’ve grown that year (or raised in the case of livestock). Now it’s more of a carnival with rides (and demolition derbies).

Well, the only county fair pictures I have are from Los Alamos, 2008. It’s such a peculiar county that it doesn’t seem to belong in New Mexico. The fair there has more of a scientific leaning than agricultural. I’m going to put up what I’ve got and let the voters decide.

haven’t [strike]dumpster[/strike] archived dived yet and probably won’t. it would come from fairs that haven’t done well in the past.

besides i had a busy?boring?long?eventful but ultimately successful day and am not in the mood.

I dove this week. Haven’t been to the fair since 09. I’m running out of shots from that set to use here!

My shot was at the end of the night. I feel a bit guilty for posting it…but this is fark. Right after this the kids and I went on the ferris wheel as the last ride of the night. I took more of this dude but the lens had a smear on it + it was night with no flash = not great. Plus, you can’t see the belly from above. (50 mm f/1.4)
