i’d be interested in this too – i’ve got a lot of creepy pics that arent directly related to halloween, but are spooky nonetheless.

so i say i can be either, but obviously i’m biased. 😛

Yep, I see it… “depicts” was the key word so I guess I need a new idea.

Form the FArQ:

Graphic content: Images that would make many people feel ill such as cadavers, autopsies, surgeries, vomiting, severed limbs, alarming deformities, roadkill, dead animals and bodily functions such as urine and feces. Images in full, or in part of, or resembling Goatse man, Tubgirl, or anything equally as disgusting will be deleted and HTML will be suspended on your accounts. Images containing child pornography will be reported to your ISP and local/federal law enforcement agencies. The use of images depicting well-known tragedies such as 9/11 is not forbidden, but usually frowned upon. Images which depict people actually dying (falling to their death, engulfed in flame, being blown up) should not be used, and the same holds true for such images involving animals.

I think they’re great and doubt they would break any rules.

I would also like to think some gore would be okay for Halloween. Imitation gore as opposed to the real thing, but what do I know…

thanks elsinore! they’re from my honeymoon in prague – we took a train out to kutna hora to see the bone church. it’s the remains of tens of thousands of plague victims that they didn’t have room for in the cemetary. really overwhelming to see it in person.

UPDATE – green as of 12:07 EST!

i think it’s probably second curtain flash – you get all the weird colors of the ambient lighting but still (sometimes) get your subject sharp and crisp with the flash.
