I had no idea what to try for this contest; filters aren’t something I’ve really played with yet. I tried taking a few shots through different coloured balloons; but nothing worked well.

After looking through this thread and seeing all the great shots and neat ideas; I am going to have to try some of these things.

The filter ring is a bit bent and I can’t get it off yet. But the lens seems to be OK. I plan to keep on using protective filters.

You should take a picture of that UV filter for this week 😀

I’ll second 3Horn’s Kata bag recommendation. I had the 3n1-30 but found it too big for my liking. I replaced it with a 20 and I love it.

For those of you shooting RAW, do you use your camera’s native format or Adobe’s DNG?

Are there advantages to using one over the other?
