ParticipantYou can almost certainly develop it as B&W, most any color film can be developed that way. This thread has a recipe for e3 developer too: http://photo.net/film-and-processing-forum/00DISU

ParticipantRules are here: http://www.fark.com/farq/farktography/#What_are_acceptable_and_unacceptable_modifications.3F
The blanket prohibition on localized corrections was removed some while back, but I don’t know if it’s particularly clear exactly what’s allowed or not.

ParticipantI have one of those. What may not be obvious from the photos is that it’s *enormous* (makes a 17-35 2.8 look small). It’s also oddly light for it’s size, though.

ParticipantHmm, you might want to consider that another 20$ could get you something rather more capable, sensor-wise (although also rather larger):

ParticipantAlso also wik, since the automagic scheduler module is not back up yet, I’ll probably have to manually sticky this thread and I can’t schedule themes past what we have just yet.
Oh, that’s what the note on the front page about “Farktography Control Implementation” meant? I was imagining something more like this…

ParticipantThat sounds like a definition of “sculpture” rather than “statue”, which I think pretty much implies a figure, i.e.:
A statue is a sculpture in the round representing one or more people or animals (including abstract concepts allegorically represented as people or animals), normally full-length, as opposed to a bust, and at least close to life-size, or larger.

ParticipantElsinore, could you envotinate my first one? Looks like I forgot. Thanks!

ParticipantAren’t sleeping and linguine thereabouts as well?
Eh, unless the forecast changes up here we’re basically expecting some bad weather is all…

ParticipantSo, I decided to see how usable of a normal image I could make within the contest rules. It is’t exactly sharp, but it’s better than I expected. Of course this is the sharpest from like 10 frames though….

ParticipantIt’s amazing what can happen when you ask for it 😀
Ok! I want a Leica M9.
sleeping
ParticipantAgreed. It sounds like there might be a lubricant leak somewhere, that’s not normal at all.

ParticipantThat coverage is tiny! I might still go that way anyhow, I wonder if that covers the same area as the D7000 in DX mode?
I’m fairly sure that’s the exact same AF module as the D7000, just dropped into the FX frame size. The D700/800 one is bigger than that, but still too small for FX IMO.
sleeping
ParticipantAt the prices D700 bodies seem to be still getting I’m almost tempted to sell mine and get one of these just for the weight savings – the 700 is a beast for a non-gripped body and the 600 is 11 oz lighter.
The thing that bothers me about the 600, though, is the smaller AF sensor array. The one on the 700 has always seemed like it was designed for a DX camera, and the 600’s is *smaller*. I’d much rather have less density but more frame coverage.
I also have to wonder what this means for the Nikon DX line. I’m not sure they aren’t ultimately planning on killing it, at least in terms of mid to high level cameras.
sleeping
ParticipantNot necessarily – pick one, shoot it from frame 11 and have it developed. If you picked right, you can shoot the entire other roll. If you picked wrong, you can still shoot frames 11+…
sleeping
ParticipantYep, got it!
Danke!
