02-10-10 – Let There Be Light
-
Photograph light sources: Flames, stars, all types of man-made lighting, etc. Difficulty: Light source must be actively lighting the photo and must be included in the image (not a reflection, etc).
Theme suggestion courtesy of sleeping–thanks!
Photographs of unlit light sources work as well I take it?
Does it count if the light source is shown in a (clear) reflection?
Lightning? 😯
I’d assume so since fire is included in the description.
OOOOH, pictures of burning stuff!!!
Would don my nomex suit, but it isn’t in this country, so I guess I will have to go archive-mining.
Photographs of unlit light sources work as well I take it?
Nope, it needs to be lighting the photo at the time.
Does it count if the light source is shown in a (clear) reflection?
No
Lightning? 😯
Yes
We should add those clarifications to the theme description.
How about “Difficulty: Light source must be actively lighting the photo and must be included in the image (not a reflection, etc)”
That works much better than what I threw in there. I’ll change that.
Lightning? 😯
Yes
Woohoo!
Is that the natural color of the photograph? It looks tweaked?
The only filter applied was cross-processing. It was shot just before sunset.
Fireworks?
And what about long exposure? Such as of a dim light, to brighten it up?

Does laser light count? I have some long exposure stuff I shot illuminated by lasers.
