ParticipantWell, at least one of my entries is going to be a closeup of nattō (fermented soybeans, with a very sticky and stringy mucus-like substance between the beans)
It is a bit hard to hold food in one hand with chopsticks and use my SLR in the other hand…

Participantyou don’t eat that stuff, do you? it is one of the few japanese foods I haven’t been able to tolerate.

Uh, I don’t understand all the hate on natto, I thought it was pretty good.
I am going to have some with breakfast in about 5 min, when my rice is done cooking.

Oh come on!
The smell is so strong and so bad they regularly use it in wake up pranks.I wish youtube had one of the videos where it startles the person awake and they reflexively recoil in disgust and terror.

ParticipantI’m leaving Friday morning for 10 fun-filled days in rural Tennessee. Internet access is doubtful at best. Would anyone be willing to do an OBO for me?

ParticipantThis is great timing, I just bought a nice macro filter the other day.
I will participate in this contest if the swine flu hasn’t killed me first.

ParticipantCan someone tell me if these are ok? They all work for the original rule (subjects are under 2″), but the total in frame is over 2″ on a couple.

That Boulder Beer bottle cap makes me really want a Planet Porter right now.
Too bad that would be $7/bottle here at a liquor store, not $7 for a 6-pack in Boulder, Colorado.May 1, 2009 at 4:36 pm #21909soosh
