despite having a few gigs of bird pictures i am going to try and get some new ones. from what i remember of past bird shots here there will be some stiff competition.
yeah, I’m not sure what I’m going to do for this one. My lotto numbers haven’t hit yet so that 300mm ‘L’ hasn’t shown up at my doorstep yet
What, not the 1200mm f/5.6 L?
or the Sigma 200-500 f/2.8?
The Sigma, maybe. I don’t know if I’m steady enough for a 1200mm, even with a tripod 😉

Zumaki, that lens looks like it is lots of fun to use. Although you might have to wait an hour or two between sessions.

Hmm too bad I can’t re-use my best Eagle shot.. I will have to go with another one
i feel that way about (some of) my pelican shot(s).
but none are as good as your eagle.
I still got nothin. Off to the park in the AM with the zoom lens.
I so wish I had a zoom lens.it would make bird pictures a lot easier. but I think I have some decent pictures this week. We will see
FWIW the most I used for a zoom this week was my 28-135mm walkaround. I think I captured some ‘moment’s’ though, still. /hopefully they don’t suck
