07-13-11 – A Shore Thing

I had a hard time choosing. In the end I decided that it was supposed to be a theme about the ocean (or water) and not of my kid at the beach. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I opted for only one kid at the shore picture.

Only one of my entries was shot with my DSLR. The rest are from the point and shoot. It will be interesting to see how they fare in the voting.

Hey, my entries are all gone! Fark says (deleted: Broken/missing image), but they haven’t moved or changed on picasa. What’s going on?!

Did both. No change. Can anybody else see my entries? They’re supposed to be on page 2, near the bottom.

Plama, they’ve dropped off. Fark periodically checks image links to make sure they’re viable links. If there’s a hiccup in your host (Google/picasa in this case), it’ll drop the links. A Fark mod can reinstate them, so you might try requesting that in the Farktography forum since it looks like Els might be away right now.
