07-14-10 – Black, White, & Grey All Over

Wow! Lots of discussion on this theme. Just for the record none of mine have been desaturated. What I was going to suggest for another theme is the same black, white, grey idea with just one colored item, much like the red umbrella pic or like the color popping theme but done naturally. I need some guidance to suggest this on the new theme idea thread. Everytime I try to enter a suggestion it goes off into a Fark Black Hole. When I first became a member, I was able to give suggestions, but have somehow lost the ability to do it right. So HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP someone give me the step-by-step.
I was thinking the same thing. Almost exactly at first. Then I changed it a little. I’m going to go post it in the themes section. I’m going to beat you! I’m going to beat you! You are going to be too slow! Na-na, Na-na, NaaaaNaa!

I have a picture for that theme idea. I took it around the time of the color popping contest and thought how it looked like a nature made version. It’s damn cute, too… I hope I didn’t end up using it for something else…. Well, I have several frames, I could probably find another that would work.., 😛

In addition to bracketing, I always take several pics for just that reason.

I pulled the first and third but left the second as it’s a much more insignificant part of the photo that shows blue sky.
So wait..I’m confused now. Is there to be no desaturation at all? My tiny oreo picture is slightly desaturated. oreos are black but my eyes saw them as a little brown. if it’s against the rules, pull it. I can post the original non desaturated version and see how that goes. Let me know! I dont want to be breaking rules 🙂
They look pretty brown to me. And if it’s been desaturated more than 5%, they wouldn’t qualify.
