hehe thanks, but they aren’t really fark-ups so much as the hosting has hiccuped and Fark freaked out about it.
Well, Mother Nature conspired against me last night.
Massive T storms knocked out the power and it’s still out.
Had to wait till I got to work to post.

Heh. Mother Nature gave me a heap o’ loving last night. Not quite what I was hoping to get, but it didn’t suck.
Flickr, on the other hand, gave me a ration and a half of crap.
My first pic (the best of the bunch IMHO) somehow got whacked and I decided against my third after looking at it with fresh eyes just before posting. Welcome back, me.
I’m just pleased as punch with how well my bee picture is doing, even though I know it is partly a side effect of how much attention the contest is getting overall. I’m just glad that it seems to be liked by others about as well as i like it relative to the others — meaning it’s not fabulous, but it’s not too shabby.
I’m also pretty much in agreement with the top two contenders. Beyond that I’ll keep any further comments to individual compliments as they come up. 😉

But you know, the red stands out in that photo more than the blue.

Yeah I know it does. Its still a favorite of mine.. Taken with a little 35mm P&S back in 95
Actually as it turns out, we didn’t catch it before, but you’ve used it for Pictures at an Exhibition as well as Simply Beautiful. So it wouldn’t have been eligible. But it is a nice shot 🙂
