ParticipantOh, dear. My archives show a plethora of forking…

ParticipantThat’ll make for tough decisions, won’t it, caradoc!
One of my pics this week was the inspiration for this theme; it’s the acacia tree (I think they’re called acacias at least). It’s certainly not the pine nor the beer tree. One of my best from back in my P+S days.
With such a wide-open theme, I’m sure I’ll have others to chose from.

ParticipantCrap. Only a week away? Since I suggested this, I guess I’d better get shooting…

ParticipantHa I do that A LOT. Suggest a theme having a great idea in mind, then by the time it actually gets approved/ready to go live I completely forget about it :/

Participantstabby You’re one of the people I haven’t heard from regarding the farkbook, do you have a contact method I can send you the form and info?

Me too. I like it because it is succinct but still wide open.

Thanks. And it’s nice in that it doesn’t prompt a boatload of questions about what the theme is about, for a change.
Oddly enough, though, I’m having a devil of a time getting a third photograph for this. I think I’ve got two good ones [fingers crossed]. I opted out of the ‘freeway divergence’ motif as I’m sure it will be overplayed (even though I had a semi-decent one).

Well now you jinxed it. I do seriously have a Q: there’s an area in Winnipeg called “The Forks” …
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Forks,_Winnipeg
… would anything taken there be considered Forktography?Oh, and I’ll just leave these here …

I think you just gave me an idea for this one… Thanks!

Participantjinxed? You owe me a Coke…
The confluence of the rivers is a fork, for one. Tree limbs fork. Not to be too literal to the theme, but I’ll bet there’s forks on them thar tables. The wakes from the little boats probably fork. Depending on the sediments in the two bodies of water, there *may* be some forking where they merge. Forks go both ways, you know.
Worse comes to worse, you can always use your hand.
*TWSS*
I mean, as in the ‘peace’ symbol (or LLAP, for that matter).
