I tried it a couple of times, and I hate it. It’s slow, and you have to be online to use it. Irfanview is free and pretty easy to use. Go to Irfanview.com if you want to download it.
ravnostic, I was thinking more of stuff that has the word “fork” in it, like these:

http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/9758/forksmarketshadow.jpgThese were taken at “The Forks” as well, but I don’t know if they represent forking:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8885/alienwindeateromnomnom.jpgI dunno, probably overthinking this, but I’m having a hellish day and cannot brain. Took me about 5 min to figure out LLAP, and Spock was always my favorite 😕

That’s cool.
Personally my take on the theme is more the ‘if it splits, it fits’ idea. If it were my decision, that one, and the market shadow, definitely. As with the alien thingy. The others, I dunno.

ParticipantI’m kind of in the same frame of mind as olavf on this one; it’s not that I really object to signs with the word ‘fork’ in them, but I don’t think they’d fare well in the contest. If you’d like to use them, you can. The market sign has forking in the boat and in the waves, though, and the last two would certainly fit.

ParticipantI can’t believe I just now realized this ISN’T going to be a food porn thread…I have nothing in my archives. lol
September 15, 2010 at 4:38 pm #31907ParticipantFood porn is coming up with “Just Desserts”, sinfully delicious! But no…this one, not so much. Though if I don’t see at least one Dallas Cheerleader doing the splits, I’ll be disappointed. Whether she’ll be wearing panties or not…I cannot say.
September 15, 2010 at 7:11 pm #31908ParticipantThanks very much for the help, guys. I think I’ve got it figured out. Well 2 out of 3 anyway. The last may come down to a coin flip. *idea* If I had a cool shot of a coin flip, I could say I’m forking/splitting the universe (that whole “trousers of time” alternate timeline thing) !
/But I don’t 🙁

I thought about standing in front of a recruiting office for the fork in the path of life.

ParticipantUgh. I was going to post a photo of a two-headed snake at the NOLA zoo, but all of my photos are totally out of focus. 🙁

How about my dancer? http://www.flickr.com/photos/21629306@N00/4866138770/personally, I would definitely say the dancer works. I’ll leave the other for others’ decision as I’m not sure 🙂

How about my dancer? http://www.flickr.com/photos/21629306@N00/4866138770/You hang out in some….uhmmm….interesting places! From what I’ve just looked at in this discussion, it seems this will be a very loose interpretation of the theme. Go for it.
Me…I’m just sticking with forks!
