Pictures that give you chills or just really creep you out.
Theme brought to you by bucky_bacon–thanks!
Hmmmmm
Would the original photo of the one that I converted to B&W be acceptable or would it count as using it twice?
That would count as using it twice. If you have a similar shot from the same series, that would be fine, but it has to be a different exposure/frame number.
Thats what I thought.
Just wanted to check
Farktography Classic: Hallowe’en 4?
For all intents and purposes, yes, but the theme wasn’t suggested specifically for Halloween. We just thought it would fit nicely and work with Halloween without being yet another Halloween contest 😉
Oh great… and I was looking forward to a Halloween theme. Big thanks to whatever moran suggested this one!

I’m sure this will be plenty Haloweenie (Halloweny? Halloweeny?)

Isn’t that going away anyhow? 😉
So today on a typically rainy Northwest morning I hike into the woods at Ft. Steilacoom to take pictures of the old Western State Mental Hospital turn of the century ward building that has stood abandoned for close to a century. I’ve never been there before but I’m told to go up the hill behind the old barns and I will find it all fenced off and tagged by graffiti artists of times past. Hiking up the hill I see the jagged edge of colorful cement against a dull gray sky. Victory, I think! Reaching the top of the hill I find that Steilacoom in all it’s wisdom demolished the building in March of this year and have now turned the foundation into a dog run.
