ParticipantWelcome to the forums, Plamadude30k!
Sorry you’re feeling under the weather tonight, Elsinore. There seems to be a bit of that going around. It’s mostly allergy-related for me; dang pollen or whatever is off the charts right now, seems like. We’ve got a chance for rain tomorrow so maybe that’ll clear some of it out.

ParticipantMine were from Julia Roberts Ville….. errrr….. Mystic, CT. Two at the Seaport, and one from the drive home.

ParticipantMine are from a trip to the zoo with my grandson that we promised him all summer. We waited till the end of September to go so as to avoid walking all day in the heat and wouldn’t you know the day we go the temps hit 90 degrees!

Thanks 🙂 This is some kind of Energizer bunny cold from hell that Zeke was kind enough to share with me. Sickness and health yadda yadda yadda. Hope you get some allergy relief!

ParticipantFor what it’s worth, mine this week are from a difficult to access dirt road site a bit north of Manzanar, California. All three photos were taken within ~20 meters from each other. It was a spectacular day.

ParticipantMine are all from Apple Hill, a tourist area near Placerville California. There are 50 or so farms, wineries, pumpkin patches and the like. I try to go every fall.

KeymasterOk guys n gals, I’m going to bed. Actually, I’ve been here, but I’m going to sleep now. If there are any problems in the thread that need immediate attention, use the Farkback link, otherwise, post here and I’ll look into things in the morning.

Participantmy one was taken on the MS gulf coast in biloxi. all my day trip stuff just looked to snapshotish for tonight. knew the competition would be great and figured one unusual photo was better than three snapshots. posted the second non voting just to give a scale size for those pods.

ParticipantHave you crazy Americans being doing something to the time flux?
Farktography normally goes up the main page at 1.00pm my time (yes, that’s right; I own the time here), but when I clicked the link for the thread posted earlier, a message came up saying the Farktography thread won’s be up for another 40 minutes or so.We haven’t even touched the fabric of time here (too busy building robots with dubiously long tentacles for that), so I’m guessing the problem is your at end.
I can only think of three possible solutions:
1) A CIA/NSA black-ops operation to control the Time-Space continuum.
2) Someone’s been at the tequila.
3) You’ve put your clocks back since I last entered a competition four weeks ago.Obviously, I’m going with the first.

ParticipantDidn’t you have the tinfoil on before posting? Tell me you did.
/oh shiat.//daylight savings time.
Hey, does kashari come here? I dig the lighting in the ballet pics (that first one is really good) and I wonder how much was done with Photoshop B&W tool. Or was flash used? Or both? It’s a nice series.

ParticipantElsinore, when you wake up in the morning (hopefully feeling much better), could you remove my first non-voting-enabled entry please? I guess there’s a first time for everything and it was bound to happen eventually…

Does Japan observe DST/Standard Time?

Got it. Unfortunately I woke up bright and early feeling as bad or worse. I may actually have to go to the doctor at this point…
