ParticipantI’ve got a couple of DIY projects going that are eating my lunch right now. The way this weekend went, I may not have time to do any more than the one I’ve already got. I’m really pleased with the way it came out, but it’s been done before, so we’ll see how it plays.

Nice work, BTW! I considered doing one of the front/side perspective shots like in your second set but ran out of time to gather new material & play with it.

ParticipantThis ain’t the week to gift me TF, BTW… I’m gonna need every moment between now and midnight to take care of all my other responsibilities AND finish my pics…
I *think* I have 1 done enough to submit. The warp-tool one is gonna take at least an hour to finish, and #3 is barely an idea yet…
And now I have to get rolling on “It’s bad for ya” before I wind up last-minute-ing that one, too….
March 6, 2013 at 8:38 pm #50404ParticipantI managed to come up with two entries, but they’re both slightly different takes on the same technique. The second one was going to be a B-side because I didn’t want to have two somewhat similar entries, but since I don’t have enough A’s, I added a couple of elements to it and promoted it.
Sneak preview can be seen here. If you take a look, be sure and click for larger, especially on the first one. Since it started as a 5-shot panorama, it’s still quite nice and detailed at the larger size.

I’d go with the 2nd two of the first three, and the first of the second two. But that’s just me.
I actually have three!! I’ve been working at learning all them durned layers and masks and stuff; hopefully it will be worth it. I like two of them, the third…kinda quick and dirty; ran out of time.

KeymasterI wish I had more time to do something for this one. I have some in-camera t/s fakes that I may use, and I’ve taken various extra exposures to someday play with HDR on, but haven’t gotten stuff pulled together yet.
Also, new themes are up. We could use some more on the themes board, actually.

Quick question… if I wanted to include the image editing program as a frame to my picture (as in showing something in mid-process etc.), do I have to photograph it, or can I do a screen capture?

Speaking of which – Elsinore, what theme description are you going with for the first post tonight? I need to setup the scraper and wasn’t sure whether we were sticking with the original description in spite of the relaxed rules or going with another.
