I wish I was as brave as you, but I’m scared to death of thunderstorms and am usually cringing in my house chanting ‘please stop, please stop!’. 😆

I love watching the lighting when it’s far away, but not when it’s snapping around town. During those last storms, I stepped out of my front door and right at the same time, there was a strike REALLY REALLY close somewhere, scared the heck out of me! Then it was back to hiding inside while hoping that hail didn’t break every skylight and window in my house.

Nice. I still have not had a thunder and lightning show since I moved. I am waiting patiently. I need to try and get the stuff to make the gadget you are using to get the timing right caradoc.

Tonopah? G/l on finding thunderstorms but at least you have Mono Lake, Yosemite and a bazillion ghost towns and mines in the area.
