I broke down and grabbed one a few weeks ago.
All I will say is here is an accidental ISO 25600 from this weekend.

I’ve been around since 05. I just out of the blue remembered my original account password. Weird. Haven’t logged onto that account since 2009.

rav, that link just shows the number of people googling “fark.com”. At this point in time, I’d guess most people with a propensity to visit Fark already know what it’s about and where to find it, so I’m not surprised to see the big drop there.

The more relevant stats can be found here: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/fark.com#

Unfortunately, they only cover 2 years, but it looks like traffic has dropped to about 1/2 of what it was 2 years ago and by 10% in the last 3 months.

This shows in my stats as well. Here are the current graphs as of last Sunday (SQ=Sliding Quarter, SY=Sliding Year):

Both quarterly and yearly voting averages are at their lowest point ever. 🙁

$5/ month for TF needs to go bye bye. The site needs more content open to the public. Although looking at Reddit’s numbers for the same time frame shows similarity. Maybe people are just getting sick of the internet?

We had a little wind & rain. Never lost power as of 9pm. From what I hear the immediate coastline got the crap kicked out of it by the massive storm surge. I stayed indoors all day.

Not too worried. Wife is in full panic mode. Went shopping for bread and eggs.

So how important is it to be certain that it was a 5 second exposure? I have a bunch of stuff like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/6513228795/ that I dont remember the shutter speed for and the computer that has the original with the exif data is on the opposite side of the country from me.

Looks close enough for government work.

Not feeling anything I have for this. I think I’m sitting out.

No surprise I hold the record for suck. LOL!

Well, I wouldn’t quite say that. It’s not really a matter of sheer suckitude (even U-Man has a 171st place entry); you’ve just been very organized about it when it happens. 🙂

    I have a 260th!

    Pfft…noobs! 1 – 114! wheres my badge? LOL!

Those who’ve been around me here for a while had to have seen this coming… Of course, my “accomplishment” and NBD’s blatant boasting 😉 got me wondering – what is the record for having an entry in sequential places? No real surprise, it’s hard to beat 114 and NBD holds the record for longest streak. My measly 31st barely gets me on the top 25 list:

Ennui that’s a model release. What Choc needs is a copyright release like this http://www.free-legal-document.com/assignment-of-copyright.html

    or this: http://robert-harrington.com/license.htm

Or like can be found here: http://www.photoshelter.com/support/license

Unless it’s a digital only album, the company that prints the CD jackets usually requires a release for photos or artwork.

And good jorb! I have had a few of my photos used on CD jackets and liners.

I would hit him up for a copy of the album too.

Y’all might think this is weird, but what’s exciting for me (maybe even more exciting than the win) is my 11th place! It was the last spot I needed to complete my “1st-25th card” (1st-31st technically). I don’t know why 11th took so long but every time I thought I had it, I’d end up in either 10th or 12th instead.

    Here ya go CISS:

Gotta admit, I was thinking about mounting on a tripod, then hand-holding it aloft and *spin*. But yeah, I get that might not be kosher.

I would think that if the tripod or monopod were hand held and not touching a solid surface it would be within the spirit of the theme.
