My shots flopped this week. *sad face*

O well I guess it’s off to Orange.

U-man & Elsinore you made me cringe with those pictures.

    I like the colors in # 2 & 3.

Too bad about the blowouts in 1.

    BTW…what the heck is it?

What about pedobears? Chicago Bears? Detroit Tigers? Piles of socks?

What about big hairy gay men? 😉

To nobigdeal, I actually thought about posting that guide before the contest and tried my ass off, but I just didn’t get it done in time. It’s been sitting on notepad on my laptop for about 3 days now 😛 Between my day job running around China and Hong Kong, my night job of exploring Chinese food (and somehow losing weight, must be tapeworms?!) and my unbelievably harsh asian birdflu (not really, but good lord was I sick), I just didn’t get it done 🙁 Sorry… but I hope there are some points that are helpful! Better late than never…

    Don’t sweat it…probably wouldn’t have helped me anyway 😉

There is definitely some points there that will help me.

I am going to practice this some more and maybe by the time this theme comes up again I’ll have some better shots.

I’m glad people enjoyed this… it’s one of my passions so I hope it catches on 🙂

I’m probably one of the more experienced panorama users… I’ve been doing it for 4 years now. The baseball picture is one of the first major panoramas I did, in the summer of 2005 😛 So it was very cool to use it this week!

To answer some of the questions about panorama photography that I’ve seen:

    Thanks for the insight….

Where were you about two weeks ago?!? LOL!

    I really enjoyed this theme.
My shots are kind of amateur compared to others but I had fun.

My photography skills have improved greatly over the past few years but my PP skills still are greatly lacking.

I really enjoyed playing around with parts of programs that I otherwise would not have used.

I’m happy if i get top 10, with the talent in Farktography! The best part for me is that I actually did this effort (can I mention it was 33degrees and humid?) entirely for the contest, even though I have 600+ panoramas on my laptop!), so whatever votes I get, I will feel like I REALLY earned them, even if it’s just my own 😛

Often in the contests, I’m trawling through my archives or coming up with a last minute idea… this one, I had the inspiration “do a day long panorama!” and went banzai for it… so… yeah. this is my baby.

    Seriously…that is an amazing photo.

I only wish I was able to put that kind of effort in.

If you are not top 3 with that then something is wrong.

    Flavivirus

That is a freaking unreal shot.

    I bow down before you!

Another theme I won’t be winning.

    *shakes fist* 😀

That means 500 people liked my photos.:

Either that or 7 or so people liked all 79 of them each week 😉

Or I use my 7 alts to vote for myself 😀

I’m gonna move to Alaska and find some cute kids, then I’m coming after ya! 😉

Funny..I was in this forum this morning and I noticed nobody commented on your concert shots. I was gonna post a snarky comment to that effect but work beckoned and I never made it back.

    BTw…great shots

I notice this alot. The ones I thought were good don’t seem to be doing anything.

I think my through the trees shot would have done better if it weren’t for someones damn road flares!

    *shakes fist at soosh*

I did bust 500 votes last week though….only took 400 weeks but hey!

I had a hard time picking three this week so I’m posting couple more here for your enjoyment and/or feedback.

    Wall of grass

    Floral eclipse of the sun

    Twin Peaks tower

    Barbed-wire and bokeh

I obviously liked the contest, a lot. I spend too much time taking pictures of the sun I guess, which might explain a few things. 🙂

    I like the barbed wire.

I had a million ideas for this theme but unfortunately didn’t have the time to shoot them.
