I think it would be more confusing if we did. The typical “color pop” photo is b/w.

Gosh! I feel like I’m one step behind here! I still though monochromatic was part of the description. 😳 This is the second time tonight that I used the oops guy.

Well, to be sure, I jumped the gun and went ahead and changed the description before you go back into the thread. I can put it back in if you’d prefer.

Could we say shades of gray or grayscale acceptable? I know you mean a black and white photo, but that has tones of gray in it. With the description like it is, will everyone understand that it should like like a black and white photo and not just sold black a white as a background?

I’m trying to gauge the limitations on the background colour.

Would something like this be acceptable?

I am not a mod but that does not seem very monochromatic to me.

One would *think* they would, but then I’ve been wrong before on the clarity of our theme descriptions. I can add grayscale, then we should be hitting all the bases (in theory).

It doesn’t strike me as terribly monochrome/black and white/grayscale either.

I think the background is too colorful, but that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

I have a photo with a snow background, though I’m almost tempted to NOT use it because it seems like cheating? Thoughts? I can upload tomorrow for you to see.

Snow background is fine. One of mine that I am planning on using is a snow background.

So far the only way I have anything that fits this theme is based around snow. Every other idea or opportunity seemed too colorful when I got them on the computer.
