I have no luck with deer. Dams were much easier.

The one (well, three) deer I used this week constitute the only picture from that day I actually liked. I definitely need a longer lens :/

Luckily I had just swapped out to my 70-300 so I was able to get to a safe distance to shoot. I have better ones that I will post as soon as I process them.

This. Although Pangolyn and I were figuring that U-Man‘s third shot would be one of his daughters riding a deer across a dam with moonbeams and rainbows lighting up the sky.

Not much. Living in Richmond doesn’t do much for her for either dams or deers. She had an idea of putting fake antlers on my head and strapping me to the roof of her car (since my nickname amongst freinds is Buck), but we never got around to it. These were archive shots that I forgot she had.
/I told her to throw some ground beef in a skillet and lie about the animal of origin.
