IMO, yep, too light.
I figured as much. just thought I would try. I don’t have much for this yet. I need to try some ideas tonight
I’m glad orionid brought the photo here for discussion. I don’t have a hatred for Topaz itself but the particular shot just looking at it, I would have DQ’d it because I think in this case it looks too processed.

Thanks for the feedback for all who responded about it. Gives me a bit more on where to go. I’ll work on something the next day or two. The one shot I thought I could do, I’m apparently not allowed to do now because he changed his mind (not that I didn’t see that coming, but I was looking forward to it).
Clouddancer, what if you enlarged the lighted area, keeping it off center and then crop, leaving some black around it.
I can re-shoot it, its not a problem. I have an idea to re-do anyway, but it does require nighttime, so I might do it tonight after my short shift is over, take the tripod and my camera outside with me for some street-light shadowing. I’m not worried. That shot was more about the streetlight than the shadows of the tree branches at the time. I’d really rather not archive-dive for this so I don’t mind going out.
