Thanks for the string tip, I’ll have to try that since I travel a lot for work and it’s hard enough dragging a camera bag plus my computer on planes so there’s no room for a tripod. If it helps even a little it would be worth it, although I bet it takes a little while to get used to using it.

It’s going to be tough for me to choose photos for this evening. I don’t have any really outstanding ones, but wildlife is one of my main subjects. I moved out of Mississippi last week and before I left I went looking for gators at one of my local fishing holes. I only saw one and couldn’t get a good shot.

It appears I have a thing tonight, can anyone do an OBO? I will email or PM the pertinents! TYIA

Unless someone can guarantee they’ll be able to do it before 8:30, I’ll be more than happy to do it.

(I’ll likely be on time, but I’m teaching college, and class is scheduled to end at 9… we don’t always get out early… I will definitely be doing mine before I leave, as I did last week, but if placement is important to you, I can’t guarantee).

Normally I would offer to OBO but I’m actually not sure I’ll be back by 8 tonight either. We’re heading out to the Virginia State Fair this afternoon.

I’m posting to boobies tonight so I know I’ll be around then if you want your pics up earlier.

Then you win the time line 🙂 Yugoboy, I will have linguine do it, thanks, both of you!

So no cages = no zoo animals? What if it’s an animal they let roam free at the zoo?

dammit! 5 potential shots for 3rd pic for today – 2 tigers, a python, a burrowing owl and a meerkat….descisions, decisions.

I think no enclosures was only meant to apply to potentially domestic animals:

Horse in enclosure = domestic horse
Tiger in enclosure still = wild tiger

    ?

but not in the wild…that’s what I’m unsure of.

Zero, as long as they’re not caged, that’s fine. I have a few “wild animals in my backyard” that I plan to use.

I just re-read this and saw that it could possibly be misinterpreted, so just to be clear: Animals caged as pets are out; caged, normally wild animals (like at a zoo) are OK.

QueenBee, caged wild animals are fine as long as they’re not pets.

Is this wild enough? It was enough to get me divorced 🙂

SilverStag, as much as I’d like to have something positive come out of that situation (even if it’s only votes in a photo contest), and as much as I’m digging those pants :), I’m guessing those ladies are more domesticated than feral….

Domesticated? Really? Where is it that you find them domesticated, cause I must be looking in the wrong place.
