Mopsy I see your daytime Eisenhower Expressway and raise you : http://www.flickr.com/photos/kestrana/4620472600/ 😉

ZE your story about people trying to open the mailboxes made me laugh – even if they had been successful, who exactly did they think was picking up the mail?

Kes, the story was from a flickr commenter. Denial is a powerful force 🙂

My first thought for this theme was “hmmm, whole lotta bridges”. I must say I’m glad that didn’t happen. The subjects are really varied, and the quality is tremendous. It seems like every week the photos get better and better. Good job everybody.

/gotta shout-out to U-Man, that draining water picture is just chock full of refractive goodness!

Nice B aspidites! I had an easy enough time choosing the first two, but got stuck choosing a third. Here are a few contenders:
Art installation last week in Kansas City IOU/USA by John Salvest, across the street from the Federal Reserve: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/bender16v/IOU8Medium.jpg (tower and transportation, full size is not blurry like small version)
Bad camera phone pic of even worse wiring in Thailand: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/bender16v/Infrastructure.jpg
Lock near Kingston, Ontario: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/bender16v/Infrastructure3Medium.jpg
Barge navigating the straights in 1000 Islands: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/bender16v/infrastructure2Medium.jpg

Thanks ZE. It was taken with a waterproof P&S.

And in regards to the other part of your comment, I am frequently pleased with the creativity expressed during themes that could be interpreted in a narrow manner.

I’m really bummed I had to archive dive again. I had several shots in mind for this one specifically but no time recently to get them. I’ve GOT to start planning ahead better for these things…

Some bees here.

I’m going to sit this one out-I got nothin’. There’s some pretty good shots this week, too. Good luck everyone!

Well that’s a bummer…two scarlet R’s, one is one I’d voted on before checking the list. 🙁
