i have a feelingthis thread will be full of awesome…. just hope I have worthy pictures

I am going to assume Shopped here refers to more than just crop and level adjustments etc… A picture that looks unreal as opposed to careful adjustments to bring out the best

[jpatten]

i find that autofocus does not do so well on Sky or other largely empty fields…

[jpatten]

there will be other contests. I didnt post anything for last week’s at all

[jpatten]

i am going back out to the airport tomorrow in hopes of getting something decent.
I have several birds inflight but would like a nice plane shot….

[jpatten]

Well its my theme and Im not sure how much I have for it so don’t feel too bad!

[jpatten]

Suspended… as from a wire etc?? I hate to rain on a parade, but I dont think that counts as airborne.

Hmm, one of my entries is a glider being towed by another plane, but the whole unit is definitely airborne.

I think that would be ok. The craft is not being held UP by the plane.

I would say yes… its implied by the title wind beneath my wings.

[jpatten]

Hope you still have something

[jpatten]

The intent of the contest was airborne (in flight)

Some “flares” have little parachutes to keep them in the air longer.
I have heard of military flares done that way

anyway Here is my favorite fireworks shot from last night

Show up at your neighbor’s door and politely ask “May I have permission to shoot your cats for a contest?”

[jpatten]

Any feline? Does this mean “real” as opposed to plush?

[jpatten]

Thank you to whoever you were that renewed the subscription.
I do truly appreciate it
