Question for the mods: “Screen captures are not acceptable”. However, I have a microscope (this one http://www.amazon.com/Carson-Digital-Microscope-Binoculars-Microscopes/dp/B004MNF4BQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1347119530&sr=8-6&keywords=zpix that displays a magnified view on-screen, and can be captured with a mouse. So not a screen capture like the PrtSc button (it’s a live-view, captured digitally in the moment), but alson not a camera in the ‘normal’ sense of the word (DSLR, P/S, iPhone).

In or out. I haven’t used it yet; might gift it out, don’t want to open it if it’s definitely ‘out.’

Personally I’d be ok with allowing it but I’d say wait to see if anyone else has an opinion.

Hey you went through my old stomping grounds. Did you spend much time in Crescent City Ca? Bummer about that way internal battery. thats a moronic way to design something. It’s almost like they want you to send the camera in for something which shouldn’t need a tech person on most cameras.

edited to ad I just looked for a backup/clock battery on my T1i and cant find one so my Canon will probably need the same tech service if that battery dies too. bummer.

Man what I would do for some rails that are more than a few feet long with nothin obstructing the view down the tracks. the only tracks around here are not very long and are in one of the two museums and have old mining carts on them. Makes it really hard to get that vanishing point thing to work.

I don’t think that’s an albino. I have seen plenty of them that color around here. and green ones too but I would say more tan ones than green. That red version is awesome.

Yeah I heard about his passing. It’s a bummer for sure. I think I will go out tonight and try some astro-photo stuff and just bee happy people like him had the guts to do the most daring thing anyone had ever thought of at that time.
