Galleywench: That looks like it might just be the design of the bridge, considering there aren’t any other weird seams. Look at the solid line representing the road surface… It’s unbroken, it just goes from being a suspension bridge to a… not suspension bridge at that point. Besides, the overall photograph is too good not to submit it just because you don’t like ten pixels out of it.

If you are still having trouble aligning your photos Morningbreath, you can download a trial version of Photoshop Elements and see if it helps. I know I’ve had photos that wouldn’t work in photomatix, but did work quite well in elements. I did this one the other night, but I don’t know if I’ll use it. It looks like the bridge didn’t line up, but that’s just how it’s made. There are a couple of spots that don’t line up, but the bridge just looks weird to me. Not bad for using the railing of an observation tower for a tripod though. 😉

My wife and I would have the best possibilty of going if it is the first (Oct. 6-7) or the third (Oct. 20-21) weekend. She has to work the other weekends. She isn’t a big fan of Vegas, but I think I could talk her into it.

I hope you do talk her into it. There’s a lot to do there and most of it doesn’t cost too much.

i was thinking a weekend – have some sort of meet and greet friday evening, people can see the sights or gamble or ride the rides on saturday, massive drinking on saturday night, sunday for wishing you were dead and traveling.

obviously people can stay as long as they like, but that’s sort of what i had brewing in my brain for the farktog party part of it.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking, but if the Mr. and I can swing it we’re going to try to make it over to Harvey’s in Tahoe for our 15th anniversary on the 12th. Yay for returning to the scene of the crime.;)

Do any of you play Texas Hold-em? I’ve only ever played online, and only for fake money, but I frigging love it. I do really well in the small tournaments, but it’s probably much easier when you don’t have to listen to all the smacktalk.

I haven’t a clue, but my Google-Fu is strong. I’m heading to bed now, but I’ll definitely start looking into that in the near future.

Bahaha, you had me going for a minute there Millera9. I was kind of looking at the middle of the month, but I can check again. Mr. GalleyWench works 40 days on and 40 days off on average. We can never count on it being exactly 40 days on, it’s usually a little more, but oddly enough the 40 days off always seems to stick. 😕

Nice photo Elsinore. It really has a retro feel/look to it. I checked the link and they’re sold out until Dec. 4, but that still gives me time. 🙂
