Are you putting these photos where someone googling the team would find them?
Your shots are just as good as the ones for sale on their website, and many are a lot better.

I don’t think they’re trying to portray this guy as a pro. Their video clearly shows he’s a just a student living with his mom. It’s a marketing gimmick to demonstrate low shutter lag and marginal flare.

I think the dumbing down of taste is the result of the market, not the producers. It’s gratifying to run around yelling “You suck at appreciating things”, or “Stop buying into this crap! THIS IS WHY WE DON’T HAVE NICE THINGS!” for a while, but you can’t change people.
With virtually no more effort (often with less effort!) they could make their lives much better. You can show them how. You can sometimes force the better experience on them. They might even agree with you, but you can’t change them. They’re going to be the same people and they will, for whatever reason, deprive themselves. You can kill them though. We can talk about that in private if you’re interested.

Netherlands? C’mon, you’re right by Belgium. Belgians sell waffles, therefore, they must have wafflehouses (Waffel Haus?).
And the audience for the Manchester vs Manchester game? Definitely some Walmartians (Tesconians?) there.

You could make leaves like these.
Then stay put, because it’s hard and I could use your advice.

    I think it was this.
Review guy says the IR filter is glued to the lens, but can be removed with a screw driver.

It’s the abbreviation of id est.
You may remember the id from Freudian psychology, where it’s described thus: “It is the dark, inaccessible part… what little we know of it we have learned from our study … of the construction of neurotic symptoms, and most of that is of a negative character…
We approach the id with analogies: we call it a chaos, a cauldron full of seething excitations… but it has no organization, produces … only a striving …”

Do the same thing to the bee hive! (with a tripod, telephoto, remote shutter and cree lights).

If you can, get a bunch of feeder bugs and toss them one by one at the hive. You can shoot video, right? Man, that would be awesome.
Ahh, grasshopper, you can snatch the stone from my hand, but the bees can SNATCH YOUR FACE FROM YOUR HEAD! FWOOOSH! BEE JUSTICE!
Bugs can run, but they can’t hive. Instant youtube fame.

The cat won’t work unless the pig gets to come along.

That’s how Ron Jeremy got his start.

    In my defense:
    1. I’ve never actually moderated.
    2. I’m lucky to get further than 2% into a plan before it fails.
    3. The 90s were a different time. People were rediscovering non-sexual physical pleasure. People were chewing on pacifiers and slathering on Vick’s at raves. In hind sight, trying to inject live baby guppies into my blood vessels was a bad idea for both me and the guppies, but it was much more difficult to know that then with the resources I had. Guppies will eat their young, and I didn’t have enough tanks to protect all of them. At the time, it seemed plausible that they would clean my arteries as well as make me feel all woobully inside. We weren’t as aware then of how misleading movies can be. People have done a lot of extrapolating concerning my motives, and I can accept that, but you have to know I never meant anyone harm. Despite what Elsinore (who wasn’t even there) says, I did not kidnap anyone, I didn’t lecture people in gibberish while claiming to be “Dagon”. It was just a few short months, and it was a long time ago.
    4. OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT!

Psh, the Stiletto TB15SS (SS stands for smooth face, straight handle) is ridiculous for framing. You want a waffle face curved hammer.

I think that fee is just to cut down on the guys ruining the atmosphere of the garden. If you’re just using natural light or a single flash and a minute or two to pose and frame they don’t bother you. Tourists here have the delightful habit of taking 10 steps back on a relatively crowded walkway then clicking their tongues and bitching when someone walks between them. I was hoping mayor Rahm would make non-crippling assaults on them legal, but he still hasn’t.

The park district in Chicago charges something crazy like $35 + $35/hour for discounted STUDENT photography permits. Outrageous fees are the norm, enforcement is all over the place.
BUT IT’S STILL THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD! WOOOOO!! CHICAGO!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!
