Yes, I missed that it was a Fark thread quote and not a farktography.net quote.

And yes, I’m really fucking fun when I’m drunk. I love you all.

kat; how the HELL did you get that shot?!

Up in clear_prop‘s plane. Well, not HIS, he just rents planes and flies them when he feels like it or needs to log hours. A couple times he’s come by Sac and picked us up to go have lunch somewhere random. The sunset from the air shot I used in the contest was from the same flight, but I chose not to use the one I linked here because Olav was using one from the same flight with the wing in it. 😉 Also John (clear_prop) said HE might use a similar one not from the same flight but from the same aircraft. I didn’t want to saturate the thread with them lol.

[justkat]

hahaha.

it looks like it’s a frost covered flower, but it’s not, so I was trying to best describe what it was.

el, I can just bet you’re an exceedingly fun drunk.

I was kinda teasing. I actually thought about it and thought if there was a more succinct way of putting it surely someone would have come up with it by now. 😆

Okay, so I’m not drinking, but I’m not sober either, I’ll fess up. hahaha!

And I agree about Elsinore. 🙂

[justkat]

Ok, I’m drunk, but I’m not THAT drunk…seriosusly. I mean, I don’t think I am.

What? lmao

If by any chance your post refers to the fact that the quote is actually from the fark thread rather than here, you’re not imagining things. Feel better now?

edited to add: or were you accusing me of drunkeness? Cuz I’m just spacey from a cold. =P Maybe very spacey? lol

[justkat]

One B side… the other one I might end up using in I Like It Anyway, so I’ll keep it to myself for now 😉

ps. the file name was wrong in pretty much every way as far as my naming conventions go, but my favorite part is how I put a “t” after “plane”.

[justkat]

cow parsnip seed cluster

well that’s a mouthful.

[justkat]

Oh geez…there it was.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were just trying to rattle my cage because I made a link after saying it was a bad idea. 🙂

I was stamping out pestilence and reducing an intussusception with air. Fun for me, not so much for the kid. 😯

ack! Better that than surgery (for the kid… although then at least he would be unconscious… 😕 )

[justkat]

I just went through the entries in this thread again. How does one even begin to vote? First, nature is absolutely beautiful and second, Fark has captured that beauty. I think everyone wins!

Yeah, this is going to be a high voting contest, for sure.

[justkat]

Down right nasty! Its supposed to last through Saturday last I heard and me with a truck with a busted transmission and not enough money to fix it right now. go figure. Thank you by the way.
I also need some practice with HDR.

You’re welcome. What’s funny is that I can’t remember exactly what prompted me to do it. I just put on my calendar for payday “sponsor lokisbong” hahahaha! 😀 I just went ahead and figured my past self probably had a good point and did it. 😉

[justkat]

Note to self: Learn HDR.

Heh. This. lol.

lokisbong – if I ever knew you were in CA I forgot. Pretty crazy weather, eh?

[justkat]

We’re going to have pretty-overload here this week, aren’t we?

[justkat]

Yeah 390th from those silly puddytats. woo? lol

Oh, and Soosh, I’ve gotten 215th twice lol — although now that I go look, that’s from my first contest, so maybe I shouldn’t feel too bad. I recall at the time being overwhelmed with joy that anyone wold vote for my pictures. 😉

[justkat]

What I’m wondering is if anyone in this discussion has a last place as bad as mine hahahaha

edited to add: or, on a more positive note: what’s the biggest gap you have? 😉

[justkat]

Choc-Ful-A, that was awesome and you are a goof. 😀

Going up to 50 (cuz it can get silly after that) I need 1-4 (sigh), 17, 29, 36, 43-44, 47 and 49. Really I can live without the ones in the 40s lol. It’s those first four that I really want heeheehee.

Oh, and the places with the largest number of finishes – 6 – are 38 and 45. At least I do have a 5 in the twenties. Good lord, this is yet another set of numbers to obsess about, isn’t it? lol

[justkat]

Elsinore – first, thanks. 🙂 Then: I had to grin at you using the phrase “I like ’em anyway”… that contest has been a huge topic of conversation at our house. 😉

[justkat]

Me too, lokisbong. Thanks again, Elsinore.

Now that we’re back… voters, man… can’t figure ’em out. As per usual, my idea of which pix would do best of my submissions was 100% backwards. 😯

Maybe I should have mentioned I’ve been carting around that statuette of Bast for 24 years? Wouldn’t change the quality of the picture, which, in my mind, is teh awesome, but apparently not so much in other people’s lol oh well. keep on swimming, right?
