ParticipantGah I’ve got a broken image Elsinore. It says it was deleted. Do I have to repost? Is it worth it?
ParticipantTrue it would be a shame to lose Flavivirus’ pics but sclark5150 is also very important as they had 8 entries in the top 5. Really losing any picture would be a shame, but since I posted that 2 minutes ago I’ve already removed 2 from the list so I’m hopeful we’ll get most of them.

The layout stuff looks awesome, I just have one little picky thing about myself, my name is one word with a capital B in the middle (like at the end of the essay). If that could be fixed on my picture captions, I’d be super grateful!

is updated again. It’s actually pretty complete now. Obviously this is a rough draft with just about every photo that was selected in the layout and we will probably cut pictures as we find out who we can’t locate for permission so the page count will go down. In general I like the look and feel of it. If you have any ideas/suggestions make them soon because the sample chapter will probably ship out this week.
It looks fantastic. I really am amazed going through how many truly spectacular images there are from so many different artists. I think it’s a great representation of what we are and what we do.
ParticipantI wouldn’t count people out completely..not say if it’s a macro shot or some weird angle that you probably wouldn’t view someone from. Know what I mean?

I have a lot of things to fit this theme. I really have taken to looking at things differently since I got my camera. Last week my Aunt asked me “What ever possessed you to take a picture of a bunch of straws?!” Well, they were colorful, had a fun shape and a repetitive pattern. I asked her if she liked the photo and she said she did. Of course she’s my aunt so she’s kind of bias, but still; I like that I can make someone look at an ordinary object a little differently.
ParticipantSo for example, the people I work for have this floor to ceiling area of tiny glass blocks next to their door. It allows light in and for them to kind of see who’s by the door without worrying if they’re naked or not 😛 I saw it as an awesome repetitive pattern that could change colors depending on the direction you looked.

Fark has over a million subscribers. 5000 is 1/2 of one percent of that.
makes sense…but still seems like a lot of people…especially for people who complain over 5 bucks 😛
